A day for dictionaries

Doug Inman, executive director of The Portland Foundation, passed out dictionaries to third graders at East Elementary School Friday morning. For the sixth year, The Commercial Review--working through the Foundation--is providing all third graders in Jay County with their own student copies of Webster`s. The local distribution was the first of its kind in the state of Indiana. The Dictionary Project works nationally to make affordable dictionaries available for distribution to third graders.
